Lucas Bunton A Difficult Out As Vestaburg Varsity Wolverines Defeat Webberville By GameChanger Media Lucas Bunton collected three hits in three at bats, as Vestaburg Varsity Wolverines defeated Webberville 7-5 on Monday. Bunton doubled in the seventh inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning. Vestaburg Varsity Wolverines got on the board in the first inning after Carter Allbee singled, scoring two runs. Vestaburg Varsity Wolverines added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Maddex Koutz doubled down the left field line, and Owen Proctor grounded out, each scoring one run. Josh hit a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the seventh for the Webberville. Gunner Harnack earned the win for Vestaburg Varsity Wolverines. The hurler allowed seven hits and four runs over four innings, striking out three and walking five. Kyle took the loss for Webberville. Webberville tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a home run to left field by Josh, and a walk by Karson. Vestaburg Varsity Wolverines took the lead in the top of the second inning after Carter Allbee walked, Maddex Koutz singled to left field, and Clements singled to left field, each scoring one run. Vestaburg Varsity Wolverines added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Scholer doubled to center field, and Colton Halgren singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
